Hunger Outreach

The Local Hunger Outreach Program is the original effort of Local Hunger, Ltd. It involves the distribution of food to local food agencies (such as food shelters, soup kitchens, missions, churches and food pantries) in communities where funds are being raised through our Vendor Outreach Program. Our distributions are typically made via food grants/credits at selected food banks in the states where contributions are made. Often, these distribution dollars are channeled through agency pool programs at specific food banks. An agency pool exists as a day-to-day source of food credit for needy agencies.

Our program is growing! Local Hunger Outreach is entering its 14th year. We thank all of our vendors, who currently represent Local Hunger, Ltd. in over 30 states.
